Marine Phytoplankton – Double Blind University Study

Just did some research and found this Report about Marine Phytoplankton.

Several double blind university studies are in progress, and even the early preliminary progress reports are very encouraging.

Alpha3 CMP (the original and patented Concentrated Marine Phytoplankton that ForeverGreen uses in its FrequenSea formula) is the marine phytoplankton used in the studies.

The double blind study was conducted at the Department of Health Promotion and Education at the University of Utah**

There were three markers that showed significant results:

1. Those that took Alpha3 CMP showed a significant (p<.01) (or a 99% chance that it is because of the marine phytoplankton) increase in CD3 measures.

CD3 is an indicator of the presence of T-Lymphocytes, which are primarily responsible for the elimination of internally manufactured antigens (viruses, bacteria, etc.) in organic tissue. (In other words, it looks like it increases the immune response.)

2. Those that took Alpha3 CMP showed a significant (p<.05) (or a 95% chance that it is because of the marine phytoplankton) scores on the emotional subscale of the SF36.

The SF36 is a health survey that is used to determine functional health and well-being. The emotional items that showed significance were favorable responses to inquiries about how they felt in the previous four weeks.

Some examples are shown below:
a. Feeling full of life
b. Feeling lots of energy
c. Feeling calm and peaceful

3. Those that took Alpha3 CMP showed (p<.05) (or a 95% chance that it is because of the marine phytoplankton) scores on the Authentic Happiness Inventory.

This includes:
a. Good moods
b. Feeling successful
c. Ability to focus
d. Filled with joy
e. How well you are doing
f. Proud of yourself
g. Level of enthusiasm
h. Level of optimism

*These results are based upon a pilot study. The results will need to be duplicated to be conclusive.
